Poultry Farming Project
The following project is in need of funding. This project will help the parish to become self-sufficient and help to address the needs of the community.

Funds are needed to support the operation of a chicken coop suitable for approximately 3000 chickens and the necessary expenses in order to provide a source of protein and income for the parish and surrounding community. The cost breakdown is as follows:
| Budget | Amount Needed |
| Approximately 3000 chicks | Rs.60,000 |
| Vaccinations | Rs. 15,000 |
| The feed for the chickens for each batch | Rs. 150,000 |
| Monthly rental of the chicken coop | Rs. 10,000 |
| Worker's salary | Rs. 8,000 |
| Total Cost | Rs. 2 Lakh 44,000 or $5,500 |
Each batch of chicks are raised for a standard 40-50 day period after which they are sold for their meat. The income that will be generated from this project will help supplement in paying educational expenses including: school fees, uniforms and supplies, provide nutritional benefits for the children and community, and help in providing a base of funding for the construction of an elementary school for the sub-station in Jogannapalem.
The following photos depict a modest start of the project. You will also note in the last photo, the coop that is currently being rented. As you can see the size of the coop is quite large and rent has to be paid for the entire coop even if under utilized due to the small number of chicks being raised. However, in order to enable this project to be self-sufficient, it is neccessary to increase the number of chickens to 3000 as stated above.
Contributions of any amount will be greatly appreciated. Only 110 contributions of $50 will make this project possible. Please give generously.
