Scholarship Fund 

The scholarship fund was created by Saint Joseph Church to help supplement families’ ability to send their children to school. More often than not, poor families make the difficult decision to take their children out of school due to their inability to meet the expenses required for attendance. However, when this happens and a child is not educated, the cycle of poverty is virtually guaranteed to continue.

This fund is designed to break that cycle of poverty by assisting families in meeting the needs of education. The assistance provided includes the payment of school fees, school supplies and school uniforms. The fund also provides assistance with teaching aids including educational supplies, maps, school textbooks and resource materials.

Please note that the assistance provided by this fund is not designed to eliminate the parents responsibilities for the educational needs of their children but rather extends a hand of support and partnership to ensure that the educational needs are met.

Contributions in any amount are greatly appreciated and will be put to work immediately to ensure that no child suffers due to a family's inability to meet the educational needs of their children.
